Someone Else Asks the 3 Dream Questions
Last month someone turned the camera on me and bid me answer the Three Dream Questions. Today I received my first submission from someone else asking the 3 questions without me being there. Above is a daughter asking her father about his dreams. She prepped him so well that he was able to go on with no prompting to respond to all three, beginning with his childhood dreams. I did edit it a bit, including a picture of his daughter and myself, and adding a brief intro. I also took the liberty of shortening it. Hopefully, the “spirit’ of the interview was not lost in the process.
My wish is that many people will submit similar interviews as I asked for on the INTRODUCTION link.
Two items for those of you submitting interviews:
Try to keep the interview between 4-6 minutes. This is particularly difficult for me to do. I f ind that much of the really interesting information is in the warm-up conversation, when I am explaining the format and getting people over their shyness. I’m going to start filming these introductory conversations and saving them. However, for the purposes of this project I find that the average watch time for most of the interviews is under 4 minutes which may mean that many people do not get to some of the best parts of the interview.
Send an image, like a JPEG, especially if you are submitting an audio or text interview. I will try to include the image in the introduction if you have not already done so or place it with the interview as an identifier or enhancer. How does the saying go: We forget what we hear, remember what we see, and understand what we do.
Thank you to the few who are currently following this site and to those of you who will begin and continue to follow. Hopefully, many of you will submit your responses to the Three Dream Questions.
