Interviews of Former and Current Students

I have had the privilege of working with some of the greatest young minds and souls on the planet over the past 28 years in my role as a teacher. I decided that I need to include interviews wit students who represent not only the genius but the soul of youth.

Jairo is a former student who returns every year to help run our school’s Model United Nations and Model European Union programs. Elijah is the youngest member of the AP Geography class since its inception almost 20 years ago. I’ll let them speak for themselves.

Jairo is an enlightened soul who may not be aware of just how insightful he is. His bilingual and bicultural situation coupled with his always doing his best will place him in a position of influence in our evolving society. The advice he gives to his peers and to younger people applies to all of us.

This is for those of us who may be looking, or not looking, for a reason to believe in the upcoming generation. This barely 14 year old student will pull you in with insights and perspectives that stretch beyond his years. His message is universal.
